Colour: Pale gold. Tasting notes,undiluted. Nose: Fruity - boiled sweets and a sweet, smoky note, Spices - liquorice & aniseed. Palate: Sherry wood with hessian notes and some smokiness. With water. Nose: Sweet, soft fruit aromas with earthy, smoky elements. Palate: Spicy - aromatic, cedar wood and subtle fruit flavours. Body: Medium. Finish: Delicate Sherry notes. Cask type: Refill Sherry Hogsheads. Style: Despite its age the whisky shows a fresh, clean character - with typical Speyside edge.
