The pink-skinned cousin of Sauvignon Blanc, with similar levels of acidity, Sauvignon Gris gives a higher sugar content, resulting in greater aromatic flavours and a richer feel to the wine. Aromas of citrus fruits merge with delicate blossom and nettle notes, leading to a crisp, clean palate with a streak of refreshing acidity. An excellent aperitif wine that will partner fish or chicken dishes admirably.
